On 12 July 2026, the NSS Unit-II of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harsh Nagar, Kanpur, organized a Vriksharopan (Tree Plantation) Programme under the campaign "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam". The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Jaya Bharti, Programme Officer, NSS Unit-II. NSS volunteers, faculty members, and students actively participated in planting saplings on the college campus to promote environmental conservation and enhance green cover. The participants also pledged to protect the environment and take care of the planted saplings. The programme successfully promoted environmental awareness and inspired students to contribute towards a greener and healthier future.
