The NSS Unit–2 of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harsh Nagar, Kanpur, organized a Two-Day Programme on “Ekta Diwas (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas)” from 29 to 30 October 2025 to commemorate national unity and integrity inspired by the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. A total of 54 students actively participated in the programme. Day 1 (29 October 2025) featured a Quiz Competition Essay Writing Competition, Reel-Making Competition. These activities significantly enhanced students’ understanding of national integration, unity in diversity, and constitutional values, helping them appreciate the importance of social harmony and collective responsibility in a diverse nation like India. The competitions encouraged creative expression, analytical thinking, and responsible use of digital media, enabling students to effectively communicate patriotic messages through traditional and modern platforms. Participation in these activities fostered a strong sense of patriotism, teamwork, leadership, and mutual cooperation among students. Moreover, the programme helped students recognize the crucial role of youth in nation-building, inspiring them to uphold the ideals of unity, integrity, and active citizenship in their personal and social lives.
