As part of the SPel Phase 2 program launched in Kanpur Nagar on 26th April 2025, two students from Jagran College of Arts, Science, and Commerce—Aanya Yadav and Ashutosh Tiwari—were selected to participate in this experiential learning initiative organized under the MY Bharat platform. On the first day, participants were introduced to the basic understanding of what the term "police" signifies and the essential role of police in society. The session focused on helping students grasp the responsibilities of law enforcement in maintaining public order and safety. In addition, participants explored the structure of the Indian Parliament, with a special focus on the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha, to understand the workings of democratic institutions. The session also included an overview of various ranks in the police department, with guidance on identifying officer ranks by observing the stars and insignia on their shoulders. The day was insightful and laid a strong foundation for deeper engagement in the days to follow.
