A Missed Call Number and Sticker Awareness Programme was organized on 18 April 2026 at Acharya Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harshnagar, Kanpur under the Mission Shakti Campaign to promote the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023. The programme aimed to create awareness about women’s safety, legal support systems, and emergency helpline services. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Jaya Bharti (NSS Unit-2 Incharge), with active participation from faculty members, NSS volunteers, and students. Students were encouraged to give missed calls to designated women safety helpline numbers to familiarize themselves with available support services. Informative stickers displaying important helpline numbers and awareness messages related to women’s rights, safety, and empowerment were distributed and displayed at prominent locations within the college and nearby public areas. The programme successfully spread awareness about emergency assistance and legal support mechanisms, encouraged community engagement, and promoted a sense of security and preparedness among participants. The enthusiastic involvement of students and volunteers reflected their commitment to social responsibility and women’s empowerment.
