KHELO INDIA DIALOGUE PROGRAMME
Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harsh Nagar, Kanpur, is conducting the “Khelo India Dialogue” programme today, 27 August 2026, under NSS Unit–II, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sports. The programme is aimed at creating awareness among students about the importance of sports, physical fitness, youth participation, discipline, teamwork, and sporting excellence. Under the guidance of Prof. Archana Saxena, Principal, the programme is being conducted by Dr. Jaya Bharti, Programme Officer, NSS Unit–II, in collaboration with Dr. Priyanka Singh, Department of Physical Education and Sports. Students and NSS volunteers are participating enthusiastically in the programme and are witnessing the virtual interaction of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with young athletes. A total of 56 NSS volunteers are actively supporting the programme through participant coordination, registration, seating arrangements, discipline management, technical assistance, and documentation. Their involvement is providing them with practical opportunities to develop and demonstrate the core NSS values of teamwork, leadership, discipline, cooperation, and social responsibility. The programme is motivating students to adopt sports and physical activity as an integral part of a healthy, active, and disciplined lifestyle. It is also encouraging youth participation in sports and inspiring students to contribute towards the development of a strong sporting culture and a healthier, more confident, and empowered India. Overall, the Khelo India Dialogue programme is serving as an important platform for promoting awareness about sports, physical fitness, youth empowerment, and India’s growing sporting aspirations among college students. The active participation of students and NSS volunteers is making the programme meaningful, engaging, and impactful.
