The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit–II of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harsh Nagar, Kanpur, organized a One-Day Digital Awareness Programme on 24 November 2025 with the participation of 50 students, under the guidance of Dr. Priya and Ms. Smriti Chauhan. The programme aimed to create awareness about digital safety, cybersecurity, and responsible use of digital technologies. Students were sensitized about common cyber threats such as phishing, online fraud, identity theft, OTP scams, and misuse of social media. Emphasis was laid on safe internet practices, including strong password management, data privacy, and cautious online behavior. The programme included interactive sessions on digital safety and cyber frauds, where practical examples were discussed to help students identify and prevent online scams. Active student participation and discussions enhanced awareness and confidence, contributing to the development of responsible and informed digital citizens.
