On 30th April 2025, during the fifth day of the SPEL Phase 2 training, participants focused on two important aspects of legal literacy and communication. The session began with practical training on how to write formal applications, especially in the context of addressing police authorities. This exercise helped volunteers gain confidence in drafting clear and appropriate complaints or requests, an essential skill for civic engagement. Following this, participants were introduced to key sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the new criminal code replacing the IPC. The session aimed to familiarize the volunteers with important provisions and how they are applied in maintaining law and order. The training for this day was held at Thana Kidwai Nagar, scheduled for the next session on 01/05/2025 at 5:30 PM.
