SPEL Phase 2 – Day 4 ( Jagran College of Arts, Science and Commerce )
On 29th April 2025, the NSS volunteers continued their learning on the fourth day of the SPEL Phase 2 training. The session focused on understanding the types of cases that require police involvement and the distinction between different case categories.
The day started with a discussion on the types of cases in which the police may be required to intervene. Participants learned about the circumstances under which law enforcement plays a role, helping them understand the broader scope of police duties.
A key part of the session was dedicated to differentiating between the two main types of cases: Civil cases and Criminal cases. The distinctions were explained in detail, helping participants recognize the legal and procedural differences between the two.
This day enhanced participants’ understanding of the legal framework and the vital role of police in resolving various types of disputes and offenses.
