Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Abhiyan” Programme
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit–II of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harsh Nagar, Kanpur, organized a Nasha Mukt Bharat Awareness Programme on 31 July 2026 under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Jaya Bharti, in accordance with the directions of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The programme aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The programme included a plantation drive, Nukkad Natak (street play), public awareness campaign, and slogan campaign. NSS volunteers interacted with community members, spread anti-drug messages through placards and slogans, and highlighted the importance of a healthy and responsible lifestyle. The programme successfully enhanced public awareness about substance abuse, encouraged community participation, promoted environmental responsibility, and strengthened leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility among NSS volunteers. Overall, the initiative effectively supported the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan by fostering awareness, volunteerism, and community engagement.
