Under the directives of the Department of Higher Education and Mission Shakti Phase–5.0 (Second Step), NSS Unit–2 of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya organized an awareness programme on the Activation of the Anti-Ragging and Women Grievance Committee from 10 April to 11 April 2026. Around 40–45 students actively participated in the programme. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about anti-ragging regulations, women's grievance redressal mechanisms, and the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful academic environment. An awareness session was conducted by Ms. Smriti Singh, member of NSS Unit–2 and the Proctorial Board, who explained the concept of ragging, its consequences, complaint procedures, and the role of the Proctorial Board in ensuring campus discipline. Students actively interacted during the session and raised queries regarding confidential complaint procedures, actions against offenders, and emergency support systems. The session helped students understand their rights, responsibilities, and available institutional support mechanisms.
