A Nukkad Natak (Street Play) was organized on 17 April 2026 at Acharya Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harshnagar, Kanpur under the Mission Shakti Campaign to promote the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023. The programme aimed to create awareness about women empowerment, gender equality, and social justice. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Jaya Bharti (NSS Unit-2 Incharge), with active participation from students, faculty members, and NSS volunteers. Through impactful dialogues, creative performances, and powerful messages, the street play highlighted important issues such as gender discrimination, women’s safety, and equal rights. Slogans like “Stop Violence Against Women,” “Equal Rights for Women,” and “Educate and Empower the Girl Child” effectively conveyed the message to the audience. The programme successfully raised awareness, encouraged social sensitivity, and inspired the audience to reflect on their role in promoting gender equality. It also helped students develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, communication skills, and a sense of social responsibility.
