The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit–2 of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahavidyalaya, Harsh Nagar, Kanpur, organized a programme on the occasion of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Jayanti on 20 December 2025 to pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji through service-oriented activities inspired by his ideals. A total of 59 students, along with Dr. Priya and Ms. Smriti Chauhan, actively participated in the programme. The programme aimed to commemorate the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji and to promote values such as compassion, selfless service, ethical leadership, national responsibility, and social commitment among students. It also encouraged teamwork, volunteerism, and sensitivity towards the needs of underprivileged sections of society. The programme began with a floral tribute to the photograph of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, followed by a session highlighting his life, political journey, literary contributions, and role in nation-building. Emphasis was laid on his commitment to democratic values, social harmony, good governance, and inclusive development. A poster-making activity was also organized, allowing students to creatively express Atal Ji’s thoughts, vision, and achievements. Certificates were awarded for the best posters. Overall, the programme was informative and inspiring, motivating students to imbibe the values and ideals of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji in their personal and social lives.
