Constitution Day Programme under NSS Unit–II on 01 December 2025
In independent India, 26 November 1949 marks the historic adoption of the Constitution of India, and the day is observed annually as Constitution Day. To commemorate this occasion, the college organized a Constitution Day programme with the active participation of faculty, students, NSS volunteers, and non-teaching staff.
The programme commenced with the Principal offering floral tributes to the statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. In the address, the Principal highlighted the significance of Constitution Day, emphasizing that rights and duties are complementary and must be upheld together. The visionary role of Dr. Ambedkar in framing the Constitution was acknowledged, along with his commitment to democracy, equality, liberty, and social justice.
Following the address, all participants collectively took the Constitution Day oath, reaffirming their commitment to the constitutional values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Programme Officer Dr. Jaya Bharti, who appreciated the support of the management, Principal, faculty, and NSS volunteers. The event proved to be meaningful and inspiring for the entire college community.
