The NSS Unit–II of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harsh Nagar, Kanpur, organized an Awareness Programme on “One Nation, One Election” on 19 November 2025 to promote democratic awareness and understanding of electoral reforms among students. The programme began with an introductory session highlighting the importance of electoral reforms in strengthening democracy. This was followed by an awareness lecture explaining the concept, constitutional background, objectives, advantages, and challenges of “One Nation, One Election,” encouraging analytical thinking and informed discussion among students. A poster-making activity was also organized, through which students creatively expressed democratic values, constitutional principles, and responsible citizenship. The programme enhanced students’ political awareness, critical thinking, and understanding of their roles and responsibilities as future voters.
