The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit-II of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Harsh Nagar, Kanpur, in collaboration with the Road Safety Club, organized a “Road Safety Awareness Programme” on October 31, 2025. The event aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of following traffic rules and promoting safe driving habits. As part of the event, Speech and Essay Competitions were organized on the theme “Safety on Roads – Responsibility of All.” Students actively participated and shared their views on road safety, traffic discipline, and accident prevention. In the Speech Competition, the winners were: • 1st Place: Priya (M.A. Final, Psychology) • 2nd Place: Mauli (M.A. Final, Psychology) • 3rd Place: Archita (M.A. Final, Psychology) In the Essay Competition, the winners were: • 1st Place: Anjali (B.A. 3rd Semester) • 2nd Place: Priya (B.A. 3rd Semester) • 3rd Place: Priyanka (B.A. 3rd Semester) All winners were felicitated with certificates of appreciation for their excellent performance and meaningful contributions. The programme was a great success and reflected the commitment of NSS volunteers and students towards creating a safer and more responsible community.
