Looking at the growing demands for professionals in the emerging field of Information Technology, the department of IT was started in the year 2004. Currently the department runs a four-year B. Tech program and PG Diploma (Data Science & Machine Learning). The syllabus of the program has been designed with the help of experienced IT professionals and academicians from the renowned institutes. It incorporates subjects from the field of Computer Science, Management and Communication Engineering. The department has a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with the latest software.
Eligibility : Admission to all BTech. programs is done strictly on the basis of merit earned through JEE (Mains). Minimum qualification for admission is as per norms of JEE(Mains). However, vacant seats (if any) after the last round of counselling are filled through the process of direct admissions based on JEE (Mains) rank /merit.
